24.10.2008 EnsoMOSAIC upgrade for 2000 Aviation Systems

2000 Aviation Systems from Uruguay is upgrading their EnsoMOSAIC imaging system with new hardware and software. After the upgrade the company is able to serve their clients with CIR imagery and stereoscopic mapping products calculated with EnsoMOSAIC 3D.

22.10.2008 Release 7.1 and Seam line editor

EnsoMOSAIC v7.1 has been released with extremely fast image display and ability to use seam lines for mosaic resampling. In addition to these major ones there is a number of small but important improvements. EnsoMOSAIC v7.1 is also available as a trial version. Simultaneously, a stand alone seam line editor was released.

15.9.2008 New GPS

EnsoMOSAIC in-flight GPS has been upgraded with Novatel OEMV-1 receiver for increased accuracy. It will be delivered with all new units and is compatible with all the existing ones. Differential correction and dual frequency are also available. Simultaneously, NavCam software was updated to support the new model.

15.8.2008 Stereoscopic mapping

EnsoMOSAIC has been integrated with ESPA Systems 3-D software for stereoscopic 3-D mapping. Please go to Downloads page for details. In addition to this, also EnsoMOSAIC block export into ISAT format is available for users of other 3-D packages.

1.8.2008 EnsoMOSAIC for University of Bonn, Germany

The Center for Development Research of University of Bonn acquired EnsoMOSAIC for hydrological studies in West Africa. A two-week training course in system operation was arranged for personnel from Germany and Burkina Faso.

18.6.2008 EnsoMOSAIC for Vilkas Avia, Lithuania

Vilkas Avia of Kaunas, Lithuania, started aerial imaging operations with EnsoMOSAIC aiming initially for forestry and agricultural clientele. EnsoMOSAIC imaging system was installed to their Sky Arrow ultralight aeroplane and was set up to operate automatically without navigator or camera operator; with pilot only.

22.5.2008 Partnership for 3-D mapping

Stora Enso and ESPA Systems have signed a cooperation agreement to integrate EnsoMOSAIC with ESPA System's 3-D software. This will create a complete integrated software and hardware package for photogrammetric processing, from digital image capturing to stereoscopic 3-D mapping.

24.4.2008 EnsoMOSAIC for Airphoto.DK, Denmark

EnsoMOSAIC software was acquired by Airphoto.DK for orthoprocessing of imagery collected by their medium format camera installed in a Cessna light aircraft. Camera photogrammetric calibration was included, as well as software training.

25.2.2008 EnsoMOSAIC v7.0 released

EnsoMOSAIC software version 7.0 has been released with new aerial block management which utilizes trigger positions, gps track and image headers to automatically detect and correct inaccuracies. The release includes new automated aerial triangulation and block adjustment algorithms for enhanced processing speed and accuracy. Version 7.0 introduces 3-step integrated calculation of orthos: 1)automatic aerial triangulation, 2) surface model generation, and 3) orthomosaic resampling.

22.11.2007 EnsoMOSAIC for PDVSA, Venezuela

EnsoMOSAIC system was delivered to the national oil company of Venezuela, PDVSA, for mapping and 3D-modeling of their pipelines and petrochemical installations in the state of Monagas. The establishment of the system will continue during an advanced training course in the beginning of 2008.
