EnsoMOSAIC

EnsoMOSAIC is an aerial digital imaging and image processing system which produces high-resolution, geo-referenced multi-spectral image mosaics that cover large land areas.

It consists of a complete set of software and hardware tools for image capturing and processing for clients that need a turnkey system to start imaging and orthoproduction. EnsoMOSAIC automatic aerial triangulation software package is for clients that already have an image capturing system and need power for their image processing.

The development of EnsoMOSAIC was started in 1993 by Stora Enso Oyj and the Technical Research Center of Finland. The system has been operational since 1995 and is today being continuosly improved by Stora Enso Oyj and PIEneering Ltd.

The origins of EnsoMOSAIC are in natural resources mapping and management. During the years of development more and more emphasis has been put to photogrammetric details to improve the quality and accuracy of the output, and today EnsoMOSAIC serves for the most demanding image processing needs including basic mapping and 3D modeling.
